STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

For the topping, pour the condensed milk into a bowl and simmer in a water bath over a low heat for 2.5 hours.

  2. 02

For the base, place the biscuits in a freezer bag and crush into crumbs with a rolling pin. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Combine the biscuit crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Transfer the mixture to a greased springform tin (24 cm diameter) and press firmly over the base and up the sides. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

  3. 03

Using an electric hand mixer, whip the cream with the cream stabiliser until stiff. Gently stir in the crème fraîche. Peel and slice the bananas. Cut the chocolate into very thin slices or grate it, as preferred.

  4. 04

Spread the toffee made from the condensed milk over the biscuit base. Cover with the banana slices, then spread the cream mixture over the top. Finish with the maple syrup and chocolate.
