STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Soak the chickpeas overnight in cold water, then cook without salt the following day until tender. Alternatively, use jarred chickpeas. Put the chickpeas and the remaining hummus ingredients in a high-powered blender and purée until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, thin it with a little water.

  2. 02

Peel the carrots and cut into sticks approximately 5 cm long. Briefly sauté in a frying pan with the olive oil. Deglaze with the juice of an orange and cook for approximately 3-5 minutes. Season with honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice and sea salt. Add a little chilli.

  3. 03

Mix the coriander with a little sesame and place in a bowl. Leave the carrots to cool briefly, then toss in the sesame and coriander mixture.

  4. 04

Arrange the carrot sticks on top of the hummus or serve separately.

  5. 05

Serving suggestion: Serve with one slice of wholemeal baguette per portion.
