STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Halve and deseed the squash, then cut it into 1 cm cubes. The skin can be left on. Cut the chilli lengthways, remove the seeds and slice into rings. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the mince, breaking it up into crumbles.

  2. 02

Add the onions and garlic and sauté. After a short while, add the chilli. Simmer everything for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a saucepan. Rinse and drain the white beans and add them to the saucepan along with the squash and peeled tomatoes.

  3. 03

Season to taste with salt, paprika, cumin and maple syrup. Spoon the chilli con carne into small bowls. Top each with 1 tbsp crème fraîche and garnish with finely sliced mint.

  4. 04

Tip: Serve with crusty baguette if you like.
