STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Pat the chicken wings dry with kitchen paper and rub with the salt and cayenne pepper. Place in a container with a lid, cover completely with the buttermilk and leave to marinate in the fridge overnight.

  2. 02

Mix the flour with the garlic powder and both types of paprika, then place in a deep plate. Crack the eggs into another deep plate and beat. Crush the cornflakes and place in a third deep plate.

  3. 03

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep saucepan to 170–180 °C. Remove the chicken wings from the buttermilk marinade and allow any excess to drip off briefly. Coat in the flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then roll in the cornflakes. Carefully lower into the hot oil and deep-fry for 7–10 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.

  4. 04

Serve the crispy chicken wings with barbecue sauce.
