STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Peel and dice the parsley root and celeriac. Wash and quarter the cherry tomatoes and set aside.

  2. 02

Heat the butter in a medium-sized saucepan. Fry the onion, garlic and diced root vegetables in it. Deglaze with the stock, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. 03

Meanwhile, bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil for the gnocchi. Wash the basil and purée finely in a blender while still dripping wet.

  4. 04

Purée the cooked vegetables together with the stock as well, stir in the cream and bring to the boil. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 05

Cook the gnocchi according to the packet instructions. Once they are ready, stir the basil purée into the hot sauce. Serve the gnocchi with the tomatoes and Parmesan.
