STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Spread the bread slices generously with butter. Wash and spin-dry the romaine lettuce, then place four large leaves on four slices of bread. Wash and slice the tomato.

  2. 02

Rinse the chicken breast fillet under running water and trim to fit the bread slices if necessary. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the chicken pieces on both sides for 3 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, use a griddle pan without adding oil. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

  3. 03

For the Caesar sauce, peel the onion and garlic. Roughly chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Grate the Parmesan if necessary. Halve and squeeze the lemon.

  4. 04

Mix the onion, garlic, Parmesan and lemon juice with the mayonnaise and yoghurt. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.

  5. 05

    Preheat the sandwich maker.

  6. 06

Place the still-warm chicken breast on the romaine lettuce and top each with a slice of tomato and a slice of cheese. Spread the Caesar sauce generously over the unfilled bread slices, open up the sandwiches and grill according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  7. 07

Serve garnished with fresh parsley or chives, if desired.
